About ScubaAddicts
ScubaAddicts was started in 2001, there was an obvious need for a dive operator that would
cater for divers wanting to experience diving with Sharks, Whale Sharks and Manta Rays in South Africa
& Mozambique.
We specialise in small groups, personal service, high quality accommodation.
The diving and accommodation is owner managed and fully guided by Craig, Shona, Clint, Sean
and the ScubaAddicts team who are your hosts, guides and dive guides from the moment you arrive.
Our lodge has been purpose built to accommodate divers. The rooms all have fantastic ocean views,
en-suite facilities and are serviced daily. There is a swimming pool, BBQ area, beach access and the
dive centre is on-site.
Focusing on diving only, we do not offer any dive courses so that the dives and dive sites are
not restricted by student divers on the boat. We feel that divers travel a long way to get here & it's
not fair to then have dives restricted because of training.
Why join us?
1./ Our diving adventures are fully guided by ScubaAddicts guides.
We don't just transfer you from point to point, from the moment you arrive; you are met by
the ScubaAddicts team, your hosts, guides and dive guides for the duration of your stay.
2./ We have a 100% safety record.
We fully comply with all safety regulations & we only dive with the very best skippers - there
are many unregistered, inexperienced 'cowboy operators' who should not be used. Boats are fitted
with all the safety equipment as specified by the Department of Transport including radios, GPS,
Medical Oxygen etc. All equipment is fully maintained.
3./ We are registered with the KwaZulu Natal Tourism Board.
As required by law, we are registered with the KwaZulu Natal Tourism Board. All our
vehicles are owned by ScubaAddicts and we carry fully comprehensive and public liability
insurance.
4./ Our packages start every week throughout the year.
We don't have a minimum requirement on our packages, unlike many
operators who cancel trips when not enough people book - we don't!!!
5./ Our group sizes are kept to a maximum of 9-divers + guides.
On every dive, we have two guides in the water. We maintain small groups to
ensure that there is no over-crowding on the boats & to maintain safety whilst diving.
6./ We offer a 'Shark Diving Guarantee' - Sharks or your diving is FREE !!!!
Our focus is on diving with sharks and due to the experience and knowledge of our dive team,
we guarantee shark sightings read more .....

Getting back to my ordinary life, I want to thank you for the shark diving week I spent
with you; it will remain in my memories for the rest of my life. Seeing 8 types
of sharks (Tigers, Zambies, Hammies, Black Tip, Whale Shark, Raggie, Sand Guitar
and White tip reef shark) with no cages and in big numbers just in one week is
definitely awesome! And of course feeling always 100% safe.

A huge thanks to you both and to Dave for an excellent holiday. I told
you after the first week that it was shaping up to be the best holiday ever and it definitely was.
Diving in Cathedral with Ragged-tooth sharks while listening to the humpback
whales singing, the baited shark dive surrounded by over 30 sharks were just some of the
highlights!

Thanks once again to Craig, Dave & Eugene for a fantastic trip, and the
way they looked after us. This was our second trip and was better than
the first. We thought the Humpback Whales at Protea and White Sharks in
Capetown were amazing, but nothing to the Manta action in Mozambique. Mantas
every dive, and the final dive, WOW!! It is worth a trip to the Kruger
just to stay with Nick and Bernadette and get a close up view of the animals
in the garden. The bush walk at the Kruger was an amazing experience.
Can't wait till we see you all again for our third
trip.

Hi Craig & the team,
We have now been 3 times and it just keeps getting better, I am
reluctant to spread the word as the selfish part of me does not want to tell
anyone how good the trips are and I want to keep it all to myself. Where in
the world can you dive with mantas, tiger sharks, zambezi [bull] sharks and
cudley ragged tooth sharks, dolphins, turtles, rays, the list is endless and
lets not forget the humpback whales on the way out and back to the beach, in
the morning and in the afternoon go see rhino, hippos, elephants, giraffe, zebra
, again the list is endless; there is nowhere in the world like it, I love it
and will be back again [sorry Craig!!]. ScubaAddicts are there to meet you at the
airport and are with you the whole trip until you go home, you are not passed
onto someone else who you have not booked with which does happen with other
operators. Thanks to all at ScubaAddicts for making our trips so good and we would
