Shark Diving Packages - South Africa >> Packages & Costs

From our lodge & dive centre in Umkomaas, we offer Shark Diving packages on the reefs between the Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks. Our packages are fully guided and include airport transfers, accommodation, breakfast and shark diving.

There is no public transport in and around Umkomaas so we provide a vehicle & driver which is included in your package so you can visit a range of local places including Durban, Ushaka Aquarium, Game Reserves, shopping centres, restaurants etc.

                   

2009 Sardine Run - South Africa >> Itinerary & Costs

Every year we travel south to Port St. Johns for the annual Sardine Run in June / July. Some operators offer Sardine Run packages at the Aliwal Shoal & Protea Banks but we don't feel this is reliable so we travel south to ensure the action.

During the Sardine Run you will get up-close and personal with Whales [Humpback, Brides etc], Dolphin [Common Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin etc], Sharks [Bronze Whalers, Dusky Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks etc], Birds [Cape Gannetts, Skewers, Pectrals, Albatros etc], Game Fish [Sailfish, Tuna etc] and as well as many other animals e.g. seals etc.
