One thing is for sure, this was our best holiday with you guys so far. Above and under water everything was perfect, thanks!!!
We cant´t wait to come back next year and do a little bit more of that. But first we do a reunion of our dive group in may in
Wales. Niall, Jason, Julie, Rebecca, Karin and I will come together for the Cider festival in Swansea!!! :-))
Thanks again for such a wonderful holiday, I really enjoyed it! I am missing it all already!
Lydia asked me to write something for the Oonas website and it's now up. I had plenty of time to write on my flights home lol.
Underwater pics are mine, Lyds has added some if her land photos from Nov to mine too.
Hope you like it :)
Cheers Faye x
Wow ... brilliant!
The diving was so good but made that way by good experienced guides. Eight species of shark in a week is not bad at all.
Always felt safe in the water. The accommodation is v comfortable and all the staff make you feel welcome. I will be back !!
David [via facebook]
Thanx a lot for those crazy sharkys' days with you guys, the last week of the Season with all of these tigers saying "goodbye" was awesome....we
loved all your organization, quality, lodge, transfert, f**g good beef braai, dives tour, added tours like game Drive... We will be back (vote for me Craig!)
I would like to thank you Craig and the rest of your team for such a wonderful time, i’ve loved everything
about the Mozambique experience. I don’t speak for the others but the chat we had on the boat and on the return
journey, they loved the experience as much as I did. I can see why Craig is so passionate about shark diving.
You will see me there again I promise.
Thank you again John.
Dear Scuba Addicts
Just a note to say a huge thank you for an awesome week last week. The hospitality, diving, food and just
general professionalism of the set up was second to none. We had a great time and will definitely recommend
it to all our pals. A big thanks as well to Jason for the last day which really finished it off well.
Best regards and hope to see you again
Caroline and Greg
First of all thanks for the amazing holiday. It was awesome, the ScubaAddicts team, the diving and the
accommodation both in South Africa and Mozambique. We have enjoyed every piece of it. We never before had such
an active, exiting and exhausting holiday. Also the safari days afterwards were stunning. We took home so
many beautiful memories; diving with 7 different types of sharks, big herds of elephants nearby and a close
encounter during night time with a hippo and many many more.
Once again you are/have an amazing team; friendly, professional and most of all FUN!!!
As promised I send you the pictures of Diesel.
Send our love and greetings to the complete ScubaAddicts team.
Lots of love, Peter & Sophie
We very much enjoyed our stay at Scuba Addicts and please pass on my sincere thanks to Craig and Mike and his
team for this outstanding dive experience.
Best regards, Cintia and Manfred
Have a look at Bec's blog of her Top-5 Dive Sites and we are two of her top - Aliwal Shoal in South Africa &

I just thought I would drop you a quick note to say a big thanks to the Scuba Addicts team. Despite our
weather issues in Umkomaas you managed to keep us occupied. We fared better in Mozambique and managed some
challenging diving. Our trip back to Durban was well organised and we managed to fit in a Cheetah sanctuary
as a bonus. Most of us then travelled to Cape Town and got our great white cage diving action.
I'm off to the Dive Show at the NEC today so I'll be researching my next trip(s).
All the best and thanks again.
PS - am I on Craig's list for a return visit?
Hi Craig, Shona and the rest of the team,
Thank you for the amazing hospitality we experienced two weeks ago.
From the first moment you picked us up at the airport, and every day, till the
last moment when we left we were treated so well, and really looked after. Keith,
Vegard the Viking and Tulu were friendly and professional, and ensured we had excellent
and safe diving. Rose has definitely passed her fear of sharks, and looks forward to seeing
more of the beautiful animals in the future. The lodge and dive centre are really well
laid out and comfortable. We look forward to diving with you again in the future. Congratulations
on a great operation.
Rose and Carsten
Hi Craig And Shona
Two weeks back and still raving about the great time we had with you,
not just the diving but the whole set up. You made us all feel at home. We
also had a really had a good group who got on well together, and we are
keeping in touch. I'm sure Maggie and I will visit South Africa again and
you will be our first choice Once again thanks for a great time and please
pass on our regards to the rest of the team.
Regards Mick & Maggie
Hi Shona & Craig
Meant to email sooner, to thank you both for a really great week of excellent
diving and brilliant hospitality. It really was one of the best weeks diving I have
had anywhere. You make everyone feel very welcome and everything runs with friendly
professionalism. A great team, including Diesel. I hope to return again in the not
too distance future, to do one of your tours [maybe the Sardine Run]. I will have to
work on the wife to get a 2 week trip and see if a few of the folk from the Dive Club are
interested. Take Care.
First and foremost, many thanks for a fantastic and wonderful holiday. We really
enjoyed it and recommended it to a lot of people. Our days on safari were also
fantastic. We saw a lot of different animals, including the big five, so that was very good.
I know we promised not to say it, but we do it anyway, we saw a leopard.
We hope your stay in Kruger also was very good, and we hope you saw a leopard too.
I hope we meet again in the future.
Tommy and Camilla
Hi Shona & Craig - Just a quick note to thank you and your crew for making our Alex & Dave's holiday a
very memorable and enjoyable occasion. They have written to us today to let us know that
they had the perfect time and that you all looked after them so well.
Thank you so much.

Just a quick e-mail to say thanks for everything on our recent trip. What stood
out to me was your professionalism, knowledge, passion, enthusiasm, attention to
detail and the fact that you work about 18 hours a day. Please rest or
you won't make 45.
I know I can be a pain asking loads of questions about elasmobranchii etc. most
people think I am a nightmare, you guys actually did
not seem to mind my endless questions and thirst for knowledge. I learnt lots
from you all especially Craig and Keith, and I cannot thank you enough. The
service at Scuba Addicts is second to none, and it felt more like staying at
someone's house as a guest rather than a paying customer.
I am already planning my next trip with you, I would really like to do the trip
where you travel up the coast for Bull Sharks & Hammerheads and just wondered if you are planning one
of these trips for Jan or Feb. Please keep me
posted as myself and Wayne are already excited about the prospect of this
Thanks again for everything and good luck to you all for the
P.S. the tattoo of the Tiger is already a work in progress, I will
send you a picture when it is completed.
Jules (confirmed shark geek, loud bald person and general pain in the bum)
Hi Craig & Shona
Just been looking through my photo's of diving with you last year and remembering what
a fantastic time I had diving with you and how well you looked after me. Hope everything is going well
for you all. I've recommended you to all the divers I've come across and will continue to.
Thanks again for a great time
Best wishes Jim Smith
We have received some feedback from Robin Gibbs, who joined you in May.
He said: "The whole Scuba Addicts team were outstanding. Every day they went the extra mile to ensure
that we had the best trip. The local knowledge was first rate. Definitely the best dive operator I
have dived with, in 14 years of diving!

Comments from the Divers Travel Club.
"ScubaAddicts is owner managed by Craig Smith who, whilst
living & working in the UK & Europe started operating shark diving adventures
to South Africa & Mozambique. After hearing various complaints about the local dive operators,
Craig who grew up in South Africa took his extensive knowledge of diving & sailing
along these coastlines and combined it with the international experience gained whilst
working & travelling in the UK & Europe and started operating quality diving adventures in
South Africa & Mozambique. Focusing on small groups, personal high quality service, superb accommodation
and combined with their passion for the wildlife along the coastline of South Africa & Mozambique,
Craig & the ScubaAddicts team ensure your diving adventure exceeds expectations."

To the ScubaAddicts team,
I've just about survived my first week back in the office. Thanks again for
arranging for all the amazing stuff to be in the right place at the right time. It
was a pleasure to dive with you.
Kevin Gardner, London
Hi Shona, Hi Craig,
The working week in London just finished for Easter, but starting back was
still quite a nasty shock to the system.
I would like to say thanks for your wonderful hospitality and
the astonishing level of care we received while with you. The amount of time
you put in to being with your guests and seeing them not just dive safely but
also fed and watered through every day was amazing. I've no idea how you manage
this while in parallel getting a house built and covering the endless day-to-day
tasks around running boats and gas fills and so on as well.
Steve Gibbons, England
Thanks once again to Craig, Dave & Eugene for a fantastic trip, and the
way they looked after us. This was our second trip and was better than
the first. We thought the Humpback Whales at Protea and White Sharks in
Cape Town were amazing, but nothing to the Manta action in Mozambique. Mantas
every dive, and the final dive, WOW!! It is worth a trip to the Kruger
just to stay with Nick and Bernadette and get a close up view of the animals
in the garden. The bush walk at the Kruger was an amazing experience.
Can't wait till we see you all again for our third
Luv Maggie & Andy, Porthkerris Divers, Cornwall
We would both like to say a very BIG thanks you for such a wonderful holiday
[the best we ever had]. Everything was certainly better than we could have possibly
wished for and we feel that this was down to the way the whole tour was put together.
We are already trying to wrangle another trip out next year and will be in contact when
we have sorted out time off etc. Thanks once again for a fantastic holiday.
Anne & Paul Russell, UK
Just wanted to say thanks for the tour - we had a really great time
and some great diving - happy for you to use us as contacts if anyone wants an
opinion. We totally enjoyed all aspects of our time in South Africa and have decided
it really was one of the best holidays we have had!!! So thanks to you and Eugene.
Certainly planning to come back and do it again very soon.
Regards Nikki & John Cantel, UK
Hello to all at ScubaAddicts,
Just to let you know I got back on Sunday. Well I had a fantastic time in S.A.
I thought the tour ran like clockwork and was very well organised, thanks for your
hospitality and service, I had a great introduction to Africa that has whetted the
appetite for more. I will certainly recommend ScubaAddicts to other divers.
Cheers Andy Roberts - London, UK
P.S. I brought some biltong back to the office & it didn't go down well!
We would like to thank Craig & Eugene for a fantastic holiday, we
look forward to meeting you again hopefully in November.
Take care, we will see you at the dive show.
James & Vicky Clarke - UK
Hi Craig & the team,
We have now been 3 times and it just keeps getting better, I am
reluctant to spread the word as the selfish part of me does not want to tell
anyone how good the trips are and I want to keep it all to myself. Where in
the world can you dive with mantas, tiger sharks, zambezi [bull] sharks and
cuddly ragged tooth sharks, dolphin, turtles, rays, the list is endless and
lets not forget the humpback whales on the way out and back to the beach, in
the morning and in the afternoon go see rhino, hippos, elephants, giraffe, zebra
, again the list is endless; there is nowhere in the world like it, I love it
and will be back again [sorry Craig!!]. ScubaAddicts are there to meet you at the
airport and are with you the whole trip until you go home, you are not passed
onto someone else who you have not booked with which does happen with other
operators. Thanks to all at ScubaAddicts for making our trips so good and we would
not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. All the best from everyone at the ABC of
Scuba Diving. See you again very soon.

Hi Craig / Shona and the crew,
Just to say a big thank you from Tapsa and myself for another great diving holiday!!!
It was some of the best shark diving I have ever encountered with all those tigers coming in real
close. I will have to come again to see them again. I will probably come over in the next year or so
to dive the Sardine Run in Port St Johns.
Best regards James & Tapsa.
Hi Craig and Shona,
A huge thanks to you both and to Dave for an excellent holiday. I told
you after the first week that it was shaping up to be the best holiday ever and it definitely was.
Diving in Cathedral with Ragged-tooth sharks while listening to the humpback
whales singing, the baited shark dive surrounded by over 30 sharks were just some of the
Apart from the diving, thanks to you all for your hospitality and the BBQs!
All the best with your lodge, and see you again soon.
Martina Nolan [Oct 2007]
Thank you for a fantastic week of shark diving. All dives were led with professionalism and
experience with spectacular shark encounters. Thanks for the great company and commitment to
delivering the best diving ever.
