The main species of shark include Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Bull Sharks, Silvertip Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Whale Sharks, Spinner Sharks, Dusky Sharks, Java Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Great Hammerhead Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Leopard Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Guitar Sharks and even Great White Sharks and more.
Whilst the main attractions are sharks, the diving also offers a huge variety of marine animals including Dolphin, Turtles, Mantas, Devil Rays, Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Game Fish, Paperfish and much more!

The Aliwal Shoal, rated as one of the top shark diving sites in the world is about 5-kms from the small diving town of Umkomaas.
The Aliwal Shoal is home to many species of shark including Tiger Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Guitar Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks and more.
During your diving holiday, you will experience a mix of shark dives on the reef, wreck dives and baited shark dives.
The Aliwal Shoal also offers a huge variety of marine life including Dolphin, Turtles, Rays, Eels, Game Fish, Reef fish and more.
The shark diving in Ponta Do Ouro is rated as some of the best shark diving in the world!
The main season for shark diving in Ponta Do Ouro, Mozambique is between mid August and end of May.
Over the years we have dived with 17-species of shark on the reefs of Ponta Do Ouro include Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Bull Sharks, Silvertip Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Whale Sharks, Spinner Sharks, Dusky Sharks, Java Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Great Hammerhead Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Leopard Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Guitar Sharks and even Great White Sharks.
Most of the shark sightings take place on the Pinnacles and Atlantis reefs but you can also see sharks on other reefs.
Arrive : Durban Airport, South Africa at anytime.
Depart : Maputo Airport, Mozambique at anytime.
When you arrive at Durban Airport you will be met and transferred to Umkomaas.
